“Making changes and changing the way we make… those were the prevalent themes at last week’s NSTA STEM Forum in Expo in Minneapolis.” — NSTA
Not only was IAT “in the house,” at this year’s NSTA STEM Forum last week, but we had a ball connecting with STEM teachers from all over the country who descended upon the Minneapolis Convention Center for three days of STEM-loving glory!
We set up camp at Booth #101 and did what we love doing — talking to teachers about how we can help them to teach and inspire the next generation of scientists and 21st century problem-solvers. Every last teacher had a compelling and inspiring story about their experiences teaching STEM and adapting to changes (often times without much advance preparation!).
Thank you to all of the great educators who stopped by our booth and who attended our workshops (IAT 2015 STEM Forum Workshops) made this conference enlightening and special. And a huge thank you to the incredible staff at NSTA for, once again, welcoming us and for giving the STEM education community a platform to connect with one another and exchange compelling ideas.
Check out a few of our photos we posted below, and be inspired by the teacher tweets captured by NSTA in their Storify recap (The 2015 #NSTA #STEMforum | The Ultimate Big Nerdy Teacher Party!) — recap also embedded below.
